New Events
Good afternoon!
We are so very excited about the many new and creative events we do at Central! We try to think of new and creative ways to engage our families and students. Mrs. Finley and her team is working so hard to get ready for our first Game Night tonight and next week has quite a bit going on as well. We have had many people ask questions!
What is Wax Museum.
Wax Museum is where students dress up to teach the ADULTS about characters or people in history.
Is this for the older grades?
No. We want ALL grades to do it! The littles are so cute when they do it!
What exactly do we have to do for dress up?
You can be as elaborate or simple as you want.
Is this like the literacy fair?
Not really. This is simply students sharing what they know. We would like a little of a visual display just in case they forget so talking points will be easier.
Who to they present to?
They present to the adults as we walk through the displays of people. This will not be on stage. Students will be in one location as we walk from expert to expert to learn from them.
I heard food was provided?
YES! We will have a light dinner for families who sign up to attend.
Is it too late?
ABSOLUTELY NOT! We need and want as many students to sign up as possible.
